Engagement Session at the Virginia State Arboretum

Kendra and Tyler’s engagement session at the Virginia State Arboretum in Boyce, Virginia was such a joy to photograph. This gorgeous location — full of winding paths, blooming gardens, and peaceful open fields — is one of my favorite spots for engagement photos in Northern Virginia. Even on a cloudy spring day, the Arboretum’s natural beauty created the perfect backdrop for their session.

Kendra and Tyler are such an easygoing, playful couple. From the moment we started, they were completely comfortable in front of the camera — laughing together, snuggling up, and just being their genuine selves. They chose two outfits for their hour-long session, one casual and one dressy, which gave us a perfect mix of relaxed and refined images. Their chemistry made every photo effortless and full of joy.

I’m so excited to celebrate with these two again this October at Cloverdale Barn — it’s going to be such a beautiful day!
