E + A’s wedding day at Cricket Chirp Farm in McGaheysville, Virginia was a joyful blend of heartfelt moments, vibrant color, and a little unexpected rain that only made the day more memorable. They began the morning in the old farmhouse, where E shared an emotional first look with her dad and brother before a tender first touch and private vow reading with her groom. Just as guests were seated for the ceremony under the historic black greenhouse, the skies opened and we paused—but soon the rain cleared, sunlight broke through, and the couple said “I do” surrounded by bright florals, bridesmaids carrying parasols, and so much joy. Their celebration continued under the open-air pavilion with dancing, laughter, and Smiley’s Ice Cream before ending with a sparkler send-off, matching sweatsuits, and a dramatic getaway in a rented sports car. From start to finish, their day was filled with color, personality, and love that outshone even the rainiest skies.
